Went on a walk with my former roomie Janna today! It wasn't a very long one because I was tired from a long day at work but figured it would be good to get out anyway, and it had been a long time since Janna and I walked together. We probably only walked 1/4 of a mile, but boy, it was enough!
Then we capped the night off by watching the Bachelorette with Nicole, eating cheesy puffs from Trader Joe's and looking at photos from Nicole and Timothy's honeymoon to Hawaii.
Not such a bad evening if I do say so myself!

My One Mile Challenge
What: Kelly's One Mile Challenge - my quest to increase my muscle strength through daily exercise so that I can walk one mile without resting or assistance.
Why: I have a form of muscular dystrophy called Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome (CMS) that weakens my muscles so that physical exercise for prolonged periods is difficult. I work out pretty consistently, but I am still concerned about how well I will get around when Josh and I go on our honeymoon next January.
When: I plan to complete my goal by the time we leave on January 8, 2011.
How: I will exercise daily through walks, yoga, exercise TV and training so I can walk one mile! I will definitely need to find walking buddies, so let me know if you want to join!
